My pet is missing
The most important thing to do as soon as you suspect that your pet is missing is to act. The quicker you start the search process, the greater the likelihood that you will find your pet.
Most of the calls we receive are related to missing cats or dogs. We have therefore put together information sheets which outline what you should do if you suspect that your cat or dog is missing. If your missing pet is not a cat or dog, we still advise you to review the information sheets as some of the information may be relevant but you should also call us for more specific advice.
Please feel free to use our example poster and flyer in order to put together your own.
We can also help with tack theft.
My Cat is Missing
Cats are naturally curious animals but they are also creatures of habit and very territorial.
Cats go missing for a whole variety of reasons including; being fed by well meaning people believing that the cat is a stray, hiding due to a loud or unexpected noise or incident, accidentally jumping into a vehicle, being stolen or being injured on the road. Cats do wonder off from time to time so only you can tell when your cat has been away for too long. Click here to download our missing cat information sheet.
My Dog is Missing
