We have the skills, experience, networks and passion to help you find your missing or stolen pet.
As The Pet Detectives Ltd was borne out of a successful private and commercial investigation agency, we are able to combine traditional search methods with sophisticated investigative skills which are particularly important when tracing stolen dogs or other pets.
Our Company Director has been involved both directly and indirectly with recovering missing pets for over a decade. Whilst in the police, his first successful assignment was the recovery of two stolen German Shepherd puppies in 1994. In addition, he has extensive private and commercial investigative experience which is essential, particularly when dealing with stolen pets. In these cases, a love of animals and an understanding of animal behaviour is not enough; an understanding of human behaviour is essential too.
Our Head of Pet Detective Services joined the company from the UK’s largest animal charity. She has an extensive network of contacts in the animal industry, a genuine passion for animal welfare and excellent research skills, all of which are essential when conducting successful investigations.
Our Pet Detectives know where to start looking, understand animal behaviour and know which organisations can help, all of which significantly increases the likelihood that we will find your missing or stolen pet.
And not forgetting our wonderful Volunteer Pet Detectives who act as additional eyes and ears on the ground.
